Reducing Pre-registration Attrition and Improving Retention
Reducing Pre-registration Attrition and Improving RetentionHEE’s RePAIR project (covering the 4 fields of nursing, midwifery and therapeutic radiography) addresses the Department of Health & Social Care’s Mandate to ‘reduce avoidable attrition from pre-registration programmes’.
RePAIR has sought to gain a greater understanding of the factors that affect retention with a focus on the four fields of nursing, midwifery and therapeutic radiography.
The toolkit is currently in development and is being designed for use by staff in higher education institutions; staff in service provider organisations, and policy makers in England. Particularly those who aspire to improve retention in the pre-registration clinical education programmes, and the newly qualified staff during the first twoyears of their clinical practice.
Take a look at some of RePAIR case study newsletters and watch out for the RePAIR toolkit on these webpages - Summer 2018.
