Global health exchange
Creating opportunities for skilled staff to work in the NHS and contributing to global health overseas.
Global Health Exchange (GHE) is an NHS foreign exchange programme whereby healthcare professionals get the chance to gain experience and knowledge of different care settings, while contributing to global health at the same time. Funded and run by Health Education England (HEE), in collaboration with the University of Salford, between them they work with healthcare providers in other countries to arrange placements for NHS staff to work in their healthcare organisations.
Healthcare staff with the right skills also come to work in hospitals and other settings in the NHS.
To find out more about GHE, visit their website or watch the video.
