About the Scheme

Innov8 partnered with the Inspiring Leaders Network and Finegreen in the financial year 2016-17 to provide an exclusive Shadow Board opportunity. The pilot was funded by Innov8 to develop an offer that aims to:

  • Grow our own talent saving millions for the NHS,
  • Embrace different thinking at a strategic level to improve organisational performance on your most pressing priorities,
  • Diversify the emerging talent pool for the future NHS

Our short case study video features interviews with participants in the Shadow Board Pilot Scheme at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

They talk us through using the scheme to identify leadership talent within the organisation, and how they nurture staff who aspire to be part of an Executive team.
