Graduate Management Training Scheme

The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) is an award winning scheme, with trainees spread nationwide.

View further information on the Scheme here.

We are the Local Delivery Partners in Yorkshire and the Humber for the National NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme.

Our role is to provide local support for all trainees, Placement and Programme Managers in Yorkshire and the Humber, and to liaise with the NHS Leadership Academy GMTS team to ensure an overall excellent experience of the scheme.

2018 Trainees Intake open now

The NHS Graduate Management Scheme is open now for the 2018 intake of Trainees. The closing date for applications is 11am on 1st December. To find out more about the application process please visit the website here, and see a recent guest blog from GMTS 2017 Trainee Amy Richards linked below.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with the face to face interviews and/or the assessment centres taking place between January and March 2018 please contact the Grad Scheme directly here.

Developing Future Leaders session

The NHS Leadership Academy is inviting programme and placement managers to a Developing Future Leaders session. This three-hour training session aims to support them in leading our future leaders as they progress through the Graduate Management Training Scheme.

This is a great opportunity to work with peers, sharing best practice, knowledge and expertise and will also:

  • Compliment the regional training provided by Local Leadership Academies
  • Help programme and placement managers understand the requirements of working with and leading GMTS participants

The Leeds session is due to take place the afternoon of 23rd November 2017 at the NHS Leadership Academy offices in central Leeds. Please download the invitation linked below for further information.
