Health Education Englandworking across Yorkshire and the Humber
Health Education England (HEE) exists for one reason only: to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England. Working across Yorkshire and the Humber, we ensure that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.
Every year, we invest approximately £5 billion in education and training for our current and future workforce, across 129 different types of healthcare staff.
To help ensure health and care services are built around the needs of people in Yorkshire and the Humber area, local providers and commissioners are working together to produce Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP).
If you are a registered nurse who has a lapsed registration you may need to undertake a period of updating your skills and knowledge before you can become re-registered with the NMC and work in the capacity of a Registered Nurse.
