Support Workforce

We are committed to helping people to helping people gain the skills they need get into healthcare work and get on.

The NHS employs more than 340,000 support workers who provide support to professionally qualified clinical staff in health and care settings, and fundamental care to patients and clients.

We are working with employers to ensure they understand the significant benefits that support workers bring, and to provide development opportunities for those staff.
