Meet the committee

Dr Sarah-Jane Lang, Conference Chair


Sarah-Jane is a Cambridge graduate and is currently a ST1 on the St George’s VTS. She is passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving mental health provision in primary care, both in the UK and internationally.

Dr Devon Kennard


Devon graduated from King’s College London and is currently a GPST1 at University College Hospital. She is passionate about general practice and hopes to be a portfolio GP with a specialist interest in dermatology.   

Dr Zahra Kadom

Zahra is an Imperial College graduate and is currently an ST2 in Hillingdon after completing her foundation years in north west London. She is keen to combine her interest in languages and the arts with a portfolio career in general practice.

Dr Alexander Lai

Since graduating from Imperial College London in 2013, Alex has pursued academic interests in allergy medicine and recently passed the first part of the Diploma in Child Heath. Outside of medicine he helps run and perform in the National Health Singers Choir and is a vehement campaigner for the NHS.

Dr Vongai Mugadza

Vongai is a University of Leicester graduate and is currently a ST1 on the Riverside VTS. She is passionate about general practice and hopes to use her influence to reduce social and ethnic divides in healthcare.

Dr Sheena Sheth

Sheena is a University College London (UCL) graduate and completed her Foundation Year Training in North Central London. She is currently a GPST1 in Hillingdon, and is passionately pursuing a special interest in Child Health.

Dr Feyi Senbanjo

Feyi graduated from University College London (UCL) and currently works as GPST1 in South London. She hopes to be combine a career in General Practice with medical education.

Dr Gada Yassin

Gada graduated from GKT and is currently an Ilford VTS trainee. She attained MRCS(ENT) prior to starting GP training and aims to utilise both skill sets in carving a GPwSI in ENT career.
