We are offering doctors in training the opportunity undertake a 12 month post as a Medical Leadership and Management Fellowship, as part of the Junior Doctor Advisory Team within Health Education England across the North West.
A unique opportunity for trainees to develop skills in service improvement, project management, medical leadership and quality assurance.”
Fellows will be involved in regional quality assurance, management and workforce functions, leading changes in the experience and working lives of trainees across the region. It is an outstanding opportunity for those undertaking a career path that will involve a leadership or managerial role.
- Duration of post: 12 months. The posts will run from August 2016 - August 2017.
- Location: Post-holders will primarily be based out of Health Education England offices at 3 Piccadilly Place, Manchester, M1 3BN. Some time will also be spent at our offices at Regatta Place, Brunswick Business Park, Summers Road, Liverpool, L3 4BN. In addition, trainees will be required to travel around the North West region for trust visits and meetings.
- Eligibility: There are three positions available within the Junior Doctor Advisory Team. Applicants must have a primary medical qualification, full GMC registration and must have completed their foundation training by August 2016.
