End of life care

In 2013/14 HE NCEL set up an external End of Life Care (EoLC) Advisory Group to make recommendations on the investment of funding for EoLC training.

This group includes representatives from acute care, primary care, hospices, social care, paediatric palliative care, universities and the local Academic Health Science Network (UCLPartners). True to the NHS Constitution, the group operated across organisational boundaries and across health and social care providers to direct funding where it will have the maximum impact for patients, carers and staff.
