Simulation and e-learning strategy
We work to bring economies of scale to effective and individualised Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) resources. We do this by building, sharing and procuring e-learning resources and sharing locally and nationally through local and national offices. This may take the form of local inductions and then spanning the spectrum to national eLfH programmes. We work to develop all sections of the workforce to assist in improving patient care.
Regional and National Networks
Our work is informed locally by projects that envisage e-learning as part of their output. This can have a national aspect so that local programmes can be built with the intention of sharing e-learning products. For example a project on dementia might be led by a region but its outputs including educational resources should have the capacity to be used nationally if applicable.
We work with Trusts, professional bodies with other parts of HEE including eLfH to develop the workforce. This supports the overall provision of high quality learning journeys for the NHS Workforce. TEL is a diverse area including simulation, e-learning, mobile apps tied by a shared or complimentary use of technology enablers such as computers and smart phones. TEL has 24/7 accessibility providing convenience for trainees and multiplying the gain from trainer inputs.
